Anna Poor
continues to expand on her
earlier work in carved wood
to unique bronzes, building on
the series started in 2000, entitled"The Journey", and last years work entitled "Predator and Prey".

     
       
This new work as did
"Predator and Prey"
deals with chance and
randomness through life. These vignettes are both somber and
humorous. These are longtime themes of Poor's and she has
been recognized throughout her career as a frequent speaker on issues of women artists.

 
 
 
  Rich McKown of Art New England said of her work, "Each (piece) honors the sacrifices made by women through time, as well as their ability to soar above them."
